Bon vivant a Paris

Paris is my favourite city so I love to visit it once a year! It has been a while since I stayed in this wonderfull apartment in Le Marais. I went we three of my best friends in 2007. (how time flies, amazing!) While searching for an afordable place to stay we found this little majestic spot at l’appartment Blanc.
This appartment is no longer available but there are other pretty nice ones! The interior was a great inspiration for my own place. I love the kilim cushions!
Writing letters from Cambodia
Today we crossed the border from Vietnam to Cambodia! Between all the enjoyment of traveling I found time to write some letters to loved ones at home! It so much nicer then only by e-mail!
The ‘Q-tip’ in the picture is a special Vietnamese one made from little chicks feathers. So soft and so much nicer to look at then to put in your ear!

Five la Fête

I had heard about this styling book ‘Five la fête’ before but never knew it was from Rotterdam, my homecity, based stylingstudio FriedaMaria. Just scrolling their website is addictive, I looked in every corner! Five la fête is fun. It is full of easy to do DIY styling tips!
Vietnam in turquoise

The colours here are just amazing. Now in Hoi An I can’t stop getting my camera out! Hoi An is this cute little vibrant place in the middle of ricefields. In the evening all streets are filled with lantarns in all colours and there are no other streetlights, very romantic!

Flight Home

(no, am not coming back home already from Vietnam!)
These pretty buttons are not actual buttons but part of a project I discovered some time ago. It is called ‘Thuisvlucht’ (Flight Home) by dutch artist Anneke Jakobs. All these parts belong to an old chair cut up in thousands of pieces. All pieces are sold (I bought one) and spread all over the world. You can even see these on her website with Google maps! These pretty pieces are still available!

Mieke Willems = :-)

Loving all things paper I fell in love with Mieke Willems; their blog, their shop, it does not matter it is al equally cute and fun! Eventhough their shop is pretty close, in Antwerp, I did not get the chance to visit them.
Luckily they have a webshop and I already made a little wishlist bellow! Cute basket, warm winter socks, bright pink agenda (comes in handy in the new year), a do it yourself calendar, fun tape, a travel journal (a bit too late), an cosy cushion.

First ‘for real’ photoshoot for Made by l e n n e b e l l e by Sophia van den Hoek (I am so proud!)

This photoshoot is special. It makes me feel special and gives a big cherry on top of the year 2009 cake! Starting out with my own business Made by l e n n e b e l l e (jewellery) last year, this is the first ‘for real’ photoshoot and it all gives it a very professional look & feel! All this thanks to Sophia van den Hoek (remember this name!) I love the image and romantic, soft touch!
Besides Sophia I am very gratefull for my friend and agent Jane Craig from Jane Agents. Without her Made by l e n n e b e l l e would not be for sale in several beautifull shops in the Netherlands! It feels like a kick start! And soon I got my first press exposure! How exciting is all of this! Much more to come this year!
Love to hear from you what you think about this shoot and my work! Check out the shop & site www.lennebelle.com.
