Bye Bye!

NMBVE0

It is time to go! We are all set and we are off! Bye Bye,…

I will try to post from Asia at least once a week. In the meanwhile I’ll keep you entertained with other ‘regular’ posts.

Check out the site regulary because I will do an Asian give-away while I am away!

And ofcourse I love to  hear from you.

We keep in touch! ♥

Home sweet home

My old appartment was love at first sight! The high ceiling, marble fireplace, cosy kitchen, large livingroom, stained glass and the balcony with the green view during summer in the middle of the city. It had it all! Last year I made these photos from my old appartment to remember it!

Recently Irene from the famous blog Bloesem asked me if I wanted to participate in her ‘Let’s Get Personal’ project where Dutch designers show their design homes! I feel so honored.

* Looking back * Thinking ahead *

Last year was a pretty turbulent year!

Moved in together, lost my job, started my own business Made by l e n n e b e l l e, learned how to paint and sew, went to numurous concerts, did several city trips; Berlin, Paris, Rome, London, sold my car and bought a vintage Vespa, enjoyed snowboarding in Switserland and went camping in our little tent in our living room as well as close to the beach, went ice-skating and skydiving.

2010 starts with a great Asian adventure and what next? Enjoying and expanding what I started with Made by l e n n e b e l l e. Doing a photography course and what else? We will see.

Amalia

A long long time ago I saw this ballet performance on television. I was so impressed I even made photos from the television! (not having a recorder) Today I found it again. It’s Amalia by choreographer Edouard Lock. It still touches me!

Also this performance by Polina Seminova gives me goosebumps and wants me to put on my old pointes.

The Suitcase series ft. Camilla Engman

For x-mas I got this great book filled with the works of Camilla Engman. I loved every page. The illustrations, paintings and collages of Camilla are just from another world. The book came with other goodies like postcards and Camilla’s companion, little dog ‘Morran’, got his own little booklet with his adventures.

The Suitcase series puts an artist or designer in the spotlight. The books are filled with artwork, sketchbook pages, beautiful photographs and bits and pieces of their personal life. I am curious who will be next!
