These lovely key-necklaces I found at Helona. A dutch atelier which does various projects. Like this one; ordinary keys turned into pretty necklaces!

Traveling is just amazing but you also leave something behind. Being away now for almost three months makes me want to hug our Jack!

When you really like hats and headbands, like me, Littledoe is love is the right place! Besides the pretty feathered headdresses and big hats the photo’s are great too.

Proef (translated ‘taste’) was my favourite lunch and tea room in Rotterdam! Just the best place for a bowl of soup or a piece of cake. It was tasty, cosy and intimate and just different in presentation and atmosphere. Proef was run by food designer Marije Vogelzang who graduated from the famous Design Academy in Eindhoven.

The place shut down but Marije continued in Amsterdam, wrote a book ‘Eat Love’ and started out many project concerning food design (like thes cute marshmallow clouds). She just launched her new site ‘ Studio Marije Vogelzang’ and the other site ‘ Proef Amsterdam’ is also worth a visit!

I loved this kitchen in my old appartment. I think I did the best cooking ever in here! And isn’t it nice to have a view outside while doing the disches. My favourite dish is a very dutch stew ‘Andive mash with bacon’.

What is yours?

This is just the dreamiest interior I have ever seen! It is the home of british stylist Ann Shore. I found it in an old Elle Decor and went searching for the images online. You see how the interior evolved watching the photo left above and right below!

The first time I heard about Anne Faith Nicholls I saw this video and it touched me truly; having the feeling you are so passionate about something. I am still in search for my own wholy grale. “The first troke, just starting it, unapolageticly doing your thing, put your heart in it and you are not gonna go wrong”

Her work reminds me of Frida Kahlo. Besides her paintings her house is a true inspiration as well. It is like a cabinet of curiousities. Interior overview here.

I fell in love with the works of Lyndie Dourthe a long tim ago! This French girl makes the pretiest things. A piece from her hands will make me utterly happy! I probably would not be able to take my eyes off of it!
