New year resolutions

My new wallpaper on my computer as an inspiration for 2011. Images by Jeana’s closet from jewelry designer Momo Suzuki and Katheryn Bentley and image with text by Anja Mulder.

Still life

I just love this ‘still life’. I shot this one with my phone at a friends place. The wooden pinecone was a present from me to her and the painting is from our painter teacher.

My x-mas gift from my love by Eva Schreuder

My x-mas days aren’t over yet and still enjoying it. Yesterday we had bruch, dinner and gifts at our parents. We really got spoild and our bellies full.

When we got home late at night I was suprised by this small christmas gift from my love; A necklace by Eva Schreuder. She punched these silver labels with one word from a little love poem counting 17 words;

‘All trough a lifetime I’ll be loving you….and the day after forever I’ll just start again.’

I really like the word; ‘I ‘ ll’. I just keep finishing the sentence ‘ I will,….’ with new years resolutions!

I found out about the work by Eva via this post by Monique from studio MHL.

ps: made this photo on my x-mas breakfast plate! This was my yummy christmas breakfast!

Swan Market first christmas edition

The whole world is snowy white here at the moment and I love it. With the christmas lights and candles on, warm drinks and my thriftstore bunny mittons I can survive this winter cold!

Last sunday we went to the first edition of the Swan Market. A creative get together with local designers and handcrafters organised by SHPPR.

I really liked the crocheted necklaces by ‘Van Rox’, the brooch by ‘Remona Poortman, the brass pins by ‘Johanneke van Helden‘ and the paper goods by ‘Jessica Nielsen‘ and ‘Lily Cards’. Also design and styling studio ‘Frieda Maria’ was present with their book Vive la Fete and all kind of stuff in their very own Frieda Maria style. (See earlier post about Frieda Maria here)

To warm up we went to Picknick for some hot chocolate and carrotcake. And when I got home, friends I met at the market spoild me with little christmas gifts; a hairpin by Van Rox and christmas ‘star’ plant from this really nice flowerist Niche.

I wish you all a cosy christmas and a wonderfull 2011 & get yourself a ‘Wish upon a star’ bracelet!

Merry-x-mas

A piece of jewelry is an everlasting gift so so take a look in the shop and find that special something for your friend or loved one. Since it is christmas & new year soon you will get a lovely ‘wish upon a star’ bracelet with your purchase to make all those wishes come true in 2011! For more details check out the shop.

This year has been full of development for Made by lennebelle. There are new selling points in the Netherlands and a few abroad and working on some more. I got some pressrelease in dutch magazines what made me smile and I am working on a new collection. I am looking forward to 2011!

For the love of friends & cooking

When I came back from traveling Asia at the end of april I decided to document all the recipies of the dinners I have every single monday with my friends! We are with the five of us (one lives abroad so she’s never there) and eat together every monday at someone elses place. We have a nice meal and watch Grey’s Anatomy or something like that with tea and cookies while discussing the big and the small things in life.

This year was full of delopment, people buying houses, getting engaged or pregnant. So much to talk about. Everybody having its own hectic life it is so nice (and I think special) that we still have this sacred monday dinners to get together. So for Sinterklaas (dutch celebration) I gave them all a little cookbook with all the recipies!

Busy, busy, busy & a new shop Donna Tienda in The Hague

The last few weeks have been busy with work, work, work in combination with Made by lennebelle. It is fun but busy and as things are going well with my own jewelry brand, getting some publicity in magazines (soon more) and finding more and more points of sales I need to get more organised and structured in what I do. The latest addition to my list of selling points is the oh so pretty store Donna Tienda in The Hague.

Tommorow I will have a special X-mas item from Made by lennebelle to spoil yourself or your loved one!

Lapsang

This weekend since a long long time I really did some shopping! With my friend Jolanda we went to The Hague where she treated me with a delicious high tea at the very cosy Lapsang (merci Jo’). I shopped this amazing blaser by Humanoid and some items by COS. I felt so spoilt since I have been making my own cloths for a year now (which is fun too)

Made by l e n n e b e l l e first appearance in dutch Elle magazine!
