Bread exchange from Berlin to Rotterdam

This weekend my love went to Berlin with friends. This way I could join the Bread Exchange Programme from Malin who lives there! I really like the idea ‘Everything is not for sale’. Baking good bread and exchanging it for nice products (to make bread), ideas and help. The bread is still in my boyfriend’s backpack but I just got this photo. We traded a ……bread (don’t know what it is yet) for chestnut flour which I bought on a farmers market in Italy and a bracelet from Made by lennebelle. Can’t wait for the bread to arrive! Hope the bread survived the trip back home. Thanks Malin! (Check out her post here)
ps If you want to join the Bread Exchange Project check out the Facebook page to get updates on how to trade fo a yummy homemade bread
Intermezzo & new display
This week a new shop is selling my collection! Artshop and gallery Intermezzo in Dordrecht. I developed this display for the glass testtubes for shops to showcase the jewelry better. What do you think?
Dolce far niente in Italy

My weekend in Italy was just so relaxing and nice! I loved to see my best friend and her family and just to hang out with them and enjoying the Italian food! It was raining cats and dogs most of the time so unfortunately not so much nice photos. We went to this cute village on a hill named Cortona where the movie ‘Under the Tuscan sun’ was shot but this was more ‘Under the Tuscan rain’! Still we had a nice ‘aperitivo‘ and a traditional Tuscan dinner at ‘La Bucaccia’.
The ‘dolces’ market was delicious! A market full of Italian treats like all kinds of oil and vinegars, truffle, chestnut flour, Italian pastries, honey and chocolat. With the chestnut flour I am trading with Malin from the Bread Exchange Programme (see earlier post) this weekend. My love is in Berlin and he will trade a bread for a Made by lennebelle bracelet and the chestnut flour!

* Just arrived in Italy, Pisa and having a capucino in an Italian bar. These small moments make me happy!
What Katie ate

Good food, delicous images and yummy recipies, you can find it all on ‘What Katie ate‘! A weblog by Sydney based food stylist and photographer Katie Quinn Davies. I just wanted to share because it is so inspirational and mouthwatering, a new favourite added to my ‘belles blog’ list!
Off to Italy!

This photo brightened up my day (found via Frolic, by Mikkel Vang). I love the atmosphere, the pillows, the art, the dress!
I am off to Italy, Tuscany for a few days! How I have longed for this short trip to one of my best friends and get things of my mind. Will be back soon with a belly full of delicious food (The place I am going to, Arezzo, is having a ‘weekend of desserts’. On their main square all restaurants serve their best sweets, lucky me) and hopefully tons of nice photos!
Things I liked yesterday

Just some random images I collected yesterday. Photo from Anja Mulder, Hunter Gatherer, Hui Hui and ….( I forgot, oeps!)
First point of sales in Australia, Melbourne: “A shop called Moth”

Thanks to Jayne Driver I will have my first point of sales in Australia at ‘A shop called Moth‘ in Melbourne! This is just the beginning, so Australia here I (made by l e n n e b e l l e) come! Jocey Davidson is the owner of a shop called Moth! I love what I have seen from her shop; the interior, the brands, the logo.
Unfortunately I can’t just take a look over there but when you do live nearby check it out and say ‘hi’ from me!
Specially made for you

This customised ‘wedding’ bracelet with sweetwater pearls I made for Fleur from ‘Dairy by Fleur‘. She made this fantastic photo and I love the wax seal in the background. So when you check out the shop but would like to have things a bit different just let me know and I am happy to make a special piece fulfilling all your wishes!
Happy b-day!

Last weekend we celebrated our birthdays together with a little houseparty for our friends! Confetti was everywhere and it was great! The next day I went to Antwerp with my best friends . We had lunch, did some shopping and I choose two amazingly pretty killim cushions for my birthday present.
My real birthday isn’t until next sunday! To celebrate it that day I will make a nice and yummy family dinner. I am brainstorming about the menu at the moment! Do you have any suggestions?
All white

At this moment, not having a regular job, I have sewing classes, paint classes and photography classes. The photographyclasses my love gave to me as a christmaspresent last year. And I am making progress!
This weeks assignment was to make a ‘still life’ all in white and make photo’s from different points of view keeping the ‘white’ as ‘white’ as possible. And,…I got two fellow bloggers in my photography class, they are creative sisters and both blog in Dutch. Check out their weblogs: ‘From Ezter with love‘ and ‘That’s nice by Barbara’!
