We did our first photoshoot for Lennebelle Petites. The photoshoots will be with cool mamma’s and their child(ren); the Mother stories. Inspiring mothers telling their stories and showing the love and special connection between them end their little ones.

I am always curious how other moms go about, how they balance life, their tips and tricks about motherhood, their favorite places and things to do, their moments of joy and fondest memories. This is what the Mother Stories will be all about!

And of course showing the first collection of all items by Lennebelle Petites! Soon more!

Perfect Little Love Nest

By | interior & design, travel | No Comments

This looks like the perfect ‘Little Love Nest’. We are dreaming about a small hideaway near the beach. Something simple and within nature. No hustle & bustle, computers, I-phones just good company, food, games, conversation, cuddling and sleep.

This treehouse consisting out of three different spaces is built by Peter Bahouth in Atlanta. Check out more here.

Making illustration designs for Coisa scarfs!

By | fashion, graphic eye candy, Illustrations | No Comments

Processed with VSCOcam with m5 presetI am so excited about this new project! Kim, owner from Coisa, asked me if I wanted to design a scarf for the new spring/summer collection 2015. Together we talked about inspirations for the scarfs and we both made a moodboard. From this point I started drawing several different illustrations/prints for the scarfs. I was so glad Kim even picked out three designs. They will be printed on a soft, airy but full cotton/linen fabric for the perfect cosy wrap.

Message by Coisa on Facebook about our colloboration!

Coisa is a Dutch scarf brand, focusing on good quality, comfortable scarfs and wraps using only natural fabrics. Check out all the different scarfs at Coisa.nl. and follow Coisa on Facebook for all updates! Coisa

Another day at the beach

By | Family, photography, travel | No Comments

I06A2231Yesterday we had another perfect day at the beach. This time we ended up in Zandvoort. We were planning to go to ‘Buitenplaats de Plantage’ but it happened to be closed so we decided to go to Zandvoort and I am glad we did. It was so nice to watch all the kitesurfers and the big waves.

We had lunch at Ubuntu Beach, a really nice and relaxing spot with good food and a super nice swing which Mette loved. We will definitely come back here.

Ofcourse my love made beautiful photo’s for our family blog All Thing Nous, our online family photo album. He puts so much time and effort in All Things Nous. It is such a precious blog keeping all our fun, special and intimate family moments; through our eyes into our memories. I will show more outtakes of All Things Nous here.

You can find more of his work here.

From pencil to bracelet

When I met Hyshil for the new identy and logo for Lennebelle Jewelry I pitched my idea about the mother-childrens jewelry line, Lennebelle Petites. Both being a mom we got really excited about it and started discussing about the first collection being a collaboration. We decided to give it a ‘GO’ and were letting our creative minds flow to get ideas for the first designs. Togehter we came up with four different sets, all with their own theme and inspired by different things.

All sets were drawn by Hyshil and we continued making them perfect from there on. I found the perfect matching gemstone beads and it all came together perfectly. It is great to go from plans & ideas, to visualisation by the illustrations from Hyshil, to an actual necklace and bracelet!

The launch of Lennebelle Petites is getting closer! So much still has to be done and I am so excited about it! The sets are inspired by a drawing from Hyshil, a song we used for the birth of Mette, a cute quote about the love for your child, childrens’ fantasie, the universe etc.

On the 13th and 14th I will be joining 100% Mamma Event in Rotterdam. This is a mamma lifestsyle event all about beaty, interior, fashion, food, care, upbringing. Here you will be able to see the first collection of Lennebelle Petites.

Small summer beach break

By | Family, travel | No Comments

ouddorp-10 We had a few perfect days last week in Ouddorp at the Dutch coast. The weather was perfect and it is always nice to have nothing else to do then spend time with your family! Joey made some really nice photo’s just before sunset on the beach.

We love the beach and we both know from our childhood how fun it is to be outdoors and near the sea a lot in weekends and holliday. Since we live in the city (close to the parc and with a nice roofterrace, lucky us) we really appreciate spending time in nature.

Our dream is to have a small shack, hut, cottage over here one day! I am collecting inspiration for our little love nest in nature over on my Pinterest.

The making of the new lookbook

By | Lennebelle jewelry, photography | No Comments

IMG_5010 IMG_5021Making the new lookbook was a lot of fun but also everytime exciting. I always have this image in my head what it is supposed to look like and it turns out different every time, but in a good way. I was so happy to find Nathalie (the model) by coincidence. I think she is really gorgeous and with my friend Sophia taking care of the photography I knew the lookbook would be in good hands. We did the photoshoot at my place, a lot of light and a lot of white.

The new collection is inspired by our trip to Bali and I used a lot of jade, amethyst and moonstone in pink and grey. And now all items are also available in rose plated.
