Studio IJm 1

By | fashion, treats & treasures | 3 Comments

Last week I went with friend and stylist Sophia van den Hoek to a photoshoot for a dutch magazine. The inspiration for this shoot came from a dutch painter Kees van Dongen and photos were taken by Miep Jukkema. I had never been to a photoshoot before and I just loved everything about this day.

The place where the shoot was taking place was at the truly inspirational IJm Studio in Amsterdam. I just could not stop getting my camera out to take pictures from all the details around us. In and around every corner there was something new to discover and I just loved the whole atmoshpere over there. Seeing the photos below you can imagine why!

Women, hope, fashion

These pretty photos are from Satara. A new dutch Fair Trade fashion label. Satara supports women in India. With the help from  young designers they make a feminin and comfortable collection. I love this idea and the clothes in nice pastels are great. I would wear almost everything, especially the ones with the bubbleprint!

{  This post was featured earlier when I was guestblogging for ‘The Drifter and the Gypsy }

My hometown Rotterdam has a lot to offer when it comes to art, design, architecture and culture and it’s filled with creative people doing their thing! These are my favourite Rotterdam based designers! Martine Viergever (jewellery), Daisy Kroon (fashion) Carola Zee (ceramics) and Charlotte Wooning (jewellery).

Daisy Kroon recently also did a photoshoot with Sophia van den Hoek, check out Daisy’s website! Remember my dreamy photoshoot for Made by l e n n e b e l l e!

My personal spring collection

The last few week I was enjoying all the amazing things we did on our 100 days trip through Asia. I always keep my red Moleskine with me for notes, as a diary and for little drawings.  Here one of the pages with the clothes I want to make when I come home at the end of this month.

More photos of our travel at Cloud Cuckoo.
