Making illustration designs for Coisa scarfs!

By | fashion, graphic eye candy, Illustrations | No Comments

Processed with VSCOcam with m5 presetI am so excited about this new project! Kim, owner from Coisa, asked me if I wanted to design a scarf for the new spring/summer collection 2015. Together we talked about inspirations for the scarfs and we both made a moodboard. From this point I started drawing several different illustrations/prints for the scarfs. I was so glad Kim even picked out three designs. They will be printed on a soft, airy but full cotton/linen fabric for the perfect cosy wrap.

A love explosion

By | graphic eye candy, jewelry, Lennebelle jewelry | 2 Comments

Today is my birthday and I took some time to look back at last year. It was crazy, a love explosion when our daughter was born, a new life, a new perspective. I adore every minute and have more focus on my priorities nowadays. Which is a good thing and lead to a new ‘business’ approach as well. Lennebelle got a beautiful make over made by the wonderful illustrator  and graphic designer Hyshil and I recently launched the new collection.

Take a look at Hyshil’s work here

Family portrait

pppThis is our family portrait made by Helena from Pop Pop Portraits. I found out about her through this lovely blog ‘Love Taza‘. I love Helana’s style of drawing. The portrait is hanging above our dining room table and I keep looking at it and feeling proud this is my family.
In an earlier post I also told about our plans to start a new blog filled with nice photo’s my love is making of us. It is almost finished and you can find it at; All things Nous.

Work in progress,….together with Unfold Studio

By | graphic eye candy, jewelry, Lennebelle jewelry | One Comment

Since I started Lennebelle in 2009 I never changed a thing at the Lennebelle website and online shop, but Lennebelle did change and in the near future I will have some nice new designs coming up.

And what’s better then showing the new designs in a pretty new layout and a new online shop?! I love working on the new design and will show the result to you soon.

My love will take care of everything behind the website and helps me with the design layout! He also made Minishop Confetti and many more. Check out more of his work at Unfold Studio.

Everything planned next year!

Because I can be a scatterbrain I need to write things down on planners and to do lists. For me this works. Love the new planners, notebooks and diaries by Marjolein Delhaas. I already know my new planner for 2013 will come in very handy.

My world will probably be turned upside down in the beginning of 2013 with a little baby girl coming into our world. Some organisation to get a bit of  daily routine will be very welcome.

To get yourself organised next year you can buy  the beautifull planners and Two Thousand Thirteen diaries by Marjolein Delhaas here.

The room for la petite inspired by our trip in Argentina

By | graphic eye candy, interior & design | 2 Comments

The room for the baby is a cosy corner room with lots of light because of three large windows with stained glass. It has white wooden floor and white walls. The rest is up to us to decorate and make it  a pretty and comfortable room for our little girl.

The room is  inspired by our trip into the Andes near Salta, Argentina where we visited the Valley of the Cacti. The stuffed cactus I bought over there (her first baby toy  ^_^) The curtains will be made by Iefke de Roos. She will dye and print the fabric like the bags that I sell at minishop Confetti. It’s hard to choose; feather or cactus? Pink or green? It does not have to be all girly so I prefer the cactus, my love prefers the feathers (what do you think?)

We found the rug in El Cafayate. The lamp is the ‘chestnut origami lamp’ by Snowpuppe and the super cute ‘Rainy day mini blanket’ by Donna Wilson.

I could not choose between Mabel the giraff or Ander, the lion is from Miga the Pan. I choose Ander, the lion, he is a bit handicaped because he misses one ear, but it makes him much less dangerous and better to keep her company while sleeping. The baby bed we found after searching for something else then everything you find at babystores is the ‘crisis bed’ by Piet Hein Eek. I love it!

We are still looking for a nice dresser. Any reccomandations are very welcome. At this moment I am thinking of a second hand piece and paint it in a nice colour. I love the paint by Studio IJM.

Design result off the Triplex lamp tape

By | graphic eye candy, Lennebelle jewelry | 3 Comments

This is one of my ‘illustration’ assignments. The last one was for Petite Etoile, check out my drawings here. And this one was for the tape of the relaunch of the Swedish design classic the Triplexlamp. I came up with the different types of lamps in 5 different settings; in the kitchen, next to the couch, on a small table, next to the bed and on a desk. And this is the result!

Don’t forget to participate in the ‘Golden Give Away’!! The winner will be anounced this friday!

I am also doing another Give-Away over at Simple Blueprint! You can also join this one!

Ready for 2012

Last weekend was just amazing! The wedding was picture perfect and will share with you soon.

Yesterday I went to Swanmarket. It was nice not selling myself but being able to walk around and have coffee with friends in the sun. I bought two things that were on my wishlist for a long time now. The perfect calander/planner by graphic designer Marjolein Delhaas. It comes in single large sheets with a clip, I love the simplicity. You can buy it here and see more of Marjoleins’ work here.

And I bought a pretty greyish-blue large cup by Carola Zee (earlier post here) for my morning tea or cappuccino!
