One of my best friends recently bought this amazing house with all the great details I love; frech balcony, open kitchen, fireplaces in livingroom and bedroom, an antique bathtub, ceiling ornaments, rooftop garden and stained glass windows. It has it all!
But what I will love most for our next appartment/house will be a entresol or mezzanine. The upper photos I tore out of some magazines a long long time ago and still it is on my top wishlist for things I will love in a our future home. The big photo is from the Selby.
This is just the dreamiest interior I have ever seen! It is the home of british stylist Ann Shore. I found it in an old Elle Decor and went searching for the images online. You see how the interior evolved watching the photo left above and right below!
The first time I heard about Anne Faith Nicholls I saw this video and it touched me truly; having the feeling you are so passionate about something. I am still in search for my own wholy grale. “The first troke, just starting it, unapolageticly doing your thing, put your heart in it and you are not gonna go wrong”
Her work reminds me of Frida Kahlo. Besides her paintings her house is a true inspiration as well. It is like a cabinet of curiousities. Interior overview here.
A while ago I bought this pretty bright pink Japanese masking tape, but what to do with it. So to spice up the bedroom a little bit I came up with this destination for my masking tape!
Paris is my favourite city so I love to visit it once a year! It has been a while since I stayed in this wonderfull apartment in Le Marais. I went we three of my best friends in 2007. (how time flies, amazing!) While searching for an afordable place to stay we found this little majestic spot at l’appartment Blanc.
This appartment is no longer available but there are other pretty nice ones! The interior was a great inspiration for my own place. I love the kilim cushions!
My old appartment was love at first sight! The high ceiling, marble fireplace, cosy kitchen, large livingroom, stained glass and the balcony with the green view during summer in the middle of the city. It had it all! Last year I made these photos from my old appartment to remember it!

This makes me utterly happy; watching the works of styling platfrom Studio IJm and listening to Giovanca’s video “Wake “which is also done by Studio IJm! Watch it and enjoy her music here. And when you are at it also take a look at this cute video of a dancing reindeer who can’t sleep! “IJmpie can’t sleep”
This is IJm’s interpetation of a christmas tree!
