Minishop Confetti is open!

By | arts & crafts, interior & design, jewelry | 5 Comments

Last week friends helped me to install and decorate the shop and friday was the ‘official’ opening of pop up shop ‘minishop Confetti’. It’s perfect, exactly how I imagened it to be and filled with only pieces I love from great people! We celebrated the opening with friends and family and cheered with prosecco, Vedett beer (sponsored ;-, thanks) and blueberry lemonade. And check out the flower garland by Niche.

It was a good start for minishop Confetti and already was featured at Petite Passport by the lovely Pauline and of course by Cloud Cuckoo!

Also the online shop is finished and filled with most items from the shop and will be up dated with new items often. Today my package from Miga de Pan arrived in the mail with fun potholders and soft toys. I jumped with joy a little that I can add new items to the shop.

More photos will follow soon and don’t forget to check out the online shop when you are not able to say hello at Meent 133 in Rotterdam!

Exchange Project: Lisanne Janssen

By | jewelry, treats & treasures | No Comments

My new home is where my heart is now but the truth is engraved in this bracelet ‘home is where your heart is’! This beautifull brass bracelet is made by graphic designer and illustrator Lisanne Janssen. The bracelets are made in Nepal and engraved with her grandmothers handwriting.

When this package came in the mail it all looked so pretty wrapped with the sweet personal note in perfect handwriting and the really nice box with two small vintage photos. It is all so well taken care of. The bracelet is to wear every day and easy to combine with just about everything. I love the fact that the text is on the inside, it’s like a secret you keep for yourself.

But Lisanne makes more pretty things. Check out her website, blog and more work and shop here!

Litte charm necklaces

New in the shop are these cute little charm tassel necklaces. Perfect as a gift for someone special during the holiday season! There’s a feather, heart, key, bird, star, anchor, nautic wheel and shell.

Also the ‘wish upon a star bracelets‘ are back. They were a big succes last year. A braided silver bracelet wrapped around a christmastree like a garland, with space on the back to write a personal message and wish your friends all their dreams will come true in 2012!

Can’t help but always love the creative spirit of designers. The enthusiasm & passion always gets to me. What we call ‘doing your thing’.Enjoying something that fits you perfectly.

I have seen Rox’s work at Swanmarket for the first time and met her last week in her own temporarily shop at the Meent in Rotterdam for the first time. Just really like what she does, especially the crocheted necklaces. Check out ‘Van Rox’ here and here and pay a visit to her shop at Meent  133!
