Model wannabe
I am becoming a model wannabe! The last two weeks I have helped out a friend at her fashion agency with the very cool brand Monique van Heist, pretty bags from Ellen Truijen, I love it all Les prairies de Paris and Rue Blanche. I am not really into fashion but this makes you fall in love with clothes and the showroom is so pretty!
Anvers
Last weekend we went to Antwerp. Even though it’s only an hour by train it always feels like a small vacation. We did some shopping (bought a great wintercoat at COS) but mostly enjoyed the ‘spring weather’ (after nog summer at all in the Netherlands) and had a lovely dinner at ‘Chez Fred’ and drinks out side till far after midnight! A bit hangover we went the next day to have a hearty breakfast and enjoyed a stroll over the thrift market at the Kloosterstraat and Sint Jans Vliet.
Rainbow bridge hand-knitted necklace

Don’t you think my new necklace is gorgeous?! I found it at Koster + Korstanje and love the colours. This necklace fits perfectly with my new pair of wine red curderoy pants. Its hand made by Sookyeong Kim from Korea and it’s called ‘Rainbow bridge’. Check out her website here.
Longing for a break

At this moment I am truly longing for a break, just to get away from the daily routine for a while and enjoy life and eachother with a different kind of view and to find some new inspiration. It always feels like your mind is refreshened after a holiday and you see things with a new perspective. Do you know what I mean?
In the past I already made amazing trips to different parts of the world and can’t wait to explore a little more. We have some nice plans but for now I really look forward to my little trip to Italy next week to my best friends wedding! Hope to make some lovely photos to share with you.
Nothing to do next sunday?

This next sunday there is another edition of Swan Market. This creative gathering is getting bigger and bigger with now over a 100 stands with design, vintage, food, fashion, interior and of course accesories! Been busy working with my new gemstones and am so happy with the result, here a sneak peak and soon more, also in the online shop!
So nothing planned for this sunday? Meet me at Swan Market and come to say hello! More details about Swan Market here.
lucky me

Lucky me! I found this cute ceramic vase at a huge thrift shop and the other day these emerald green mouth blown glass cups. Aren’t they oh so pretty! They are a good motivation to get this cleaning job done and afterwards I might treat myself finally with the fox claw earrings by Odette NY!

Midsummer home clean out.

At this moment I am planning a midsummer home clean out. Sewing new white linen curtains and cushion covers, getting rid of all the cloths I think I will wear some day and never do, getting my administration in order and my cubboards and corners you never seem to clean spick and span. It will be so refreshing!

Once Wed
This summer three of my best friends will get married. One married last weekend and it was such a beautifull day! Everything was picture perfect from the dress to the locations, the cake and the flowers. It was all lovely. Because I was one of the masters of cerremonies I had to brainstorm a little and found this amazing website filled with weddings you all want to have yourself! I love this circus themed wedding but there are many many more,…Check it out on ‘Once Wed’

Warm weather is in the air and I would love some of this pink lemonade. I can’t wait for summer to start and enjoy three weddings, all of them of my closest and dearests friends, one will even take me for a trip to Tuscany, a romantic camping holiday to France with my love plus stopover in Paris, a weekend at the beach, summer festivals and lazy afternoons on the terras and warm evenings on a candlelit balcony.

Just some photo’s that did not make it to the catalog. Enjoy your weekend!
