Tomorrow we will go to Amsterdam for a daytrip. Geared with warm mittons and scarf we will hop from coffee place to Restored to say Hi to lunchspot to appointment at LouLou to winebar to Le Petit Latin what is said like having dinner in a small French village. Can’t wait! We are celebrating our 3,5 years anniversary!

It’s fun having a belated birthday present! Yesterday I received this gift from my love in the mailbox. This beautifull brass arrow bracelet by Odette NY. Together with my fox claw earrings they make a perfect pair!

I clearly remember the first time I saw her bags at Fleur, a shop in Rotterdam some years ago and now finaly, because of the exchange project, I am the proud owner of this cute suede Rubber Soul original! This one is called Lena. I love it and can’t take my eyes off it!

It has been a busy and good (new shop in Berlin and featured in Dutch Elle and VT Wonen) week for me but a quiet week over here. So happy it’s weekend! Will be doing a lot of the above and will be off shopping and having tea at this cute place Lapsang in The Hague (love this city, close to the sea) with lovely friend Rose. My friend borrowed me this great grey jumpsuit, it’s so comfy I am going to live in it for the weekend! Wondering how you will spend your weekend.

I am becoming a model wannabe! The last two weeks I have helped out a friend at her fashion agency with the very cool brand Monique van Heist, pretty bags from Ellen Truijen, I love it all Les prairies de Paris and Rue Blanche. I am not really into fashion but this makes you fall in love with clothes and the showroom is so pretty!
Last weekend we went to Antwerp. Even though it’s only an hour by train it always feels like a small vacation. We did some shopping (bought a great wintercoat at COS) but mostly enjoyed the ‘spring weather’ (after nog summer at all in the Netherlands) and had a lovely dinner at ‘Chez Fred’ and drinks out side till far after midnight! A bit hangover we went the next day to have a hearty breakfast and enjoyed a stroll over the thrift market at the Kloosterstraat and Sint Jans Vliet.
Don’t you think my new necklace is gorgeous?! I found it at Koster + Korstanje and love the colours. This necklace fits perfectly with my new pair of wine red curderoy pants. Its hand made by Sookyeong Kim from Korea and it’s called ‘Rainbow bridge’. Check out her website here.
At this moment I am truly longing for a break, just to get away from the daily routine for a while and enjoy life and eachother with a different kind of view and to find some new inspiration. It always feels like your mind is refreshened after a holiday and you see things with a new perspective. Do you know what I mean?
In the past I already made amazing trips to different parts of the world and can’t wait to explore a little more. We have some nice plans but for now I really look forward to my little trip to Italy next week to my best friends wedding! Hope to make some lovely photos to share with you.
