It has been a busy and good (new shop in Berlin and featured in Dutch Elle and VT Wonen) week for me but a quiet week over here. So happy it’s weekend! Will be doing a lot of the above and will be off shopping and having tea at this cute place Lapsang in The Hague (love this city, close to the sea) with lovely friend Rose. My friend borrowed me this great grey jumpsuit, it’s so comfy I am going to live in it for the weekend! Wondering how you will spend your weekend.

It started with the doorbell ringing on sunday morning,…an amazing suprise breakfast from my best friends, family coming over for dinner and on the day itself, monday, I celebrated my birthday in the woods collecting three bags of pinecones with my 90 year old grandmother! It was a perfect day! The first image is not a dog but a cute babycow.

Tommorrow I will be with Lennebelle at the Mode Marche in Rotterdam. A big event all about fashion. This is already the … edition and held in museum Booijmans van Beuningen and the very pretty

Armenius church where I will have my stand! Stock up on christmas and ‘Sinterklaas’ gifts. There are many many young, talented and established designers with all kinds of stuff. It starts at 13.00. This is my new bedtime reading, My Heart Wanders by Pia Jane Bijkerk. It was on my wishlist for a long time. It was sold out pretty fast so I had to wait a while to get a copy in my hands! I love the way Pia is writing and of course the images and feel of the book is just great. Recently Pia opened her own online shop filled with her own books like this one but also Paris made by hand and Amsterdam made by hand. Check it out here. They will make a really nice christmas gift and these ones are all personaly signed by Pia!

New in the shop are these cute little charm tassel necklaces. Perfect as a gift for someone special during the holiday season! There’s a feather, heart, key, bird, star, anchor, nautic wheel and shell.

This is one of my ‘illustration’ assignments. The last one was for Petite Etoile, check out my drawings here. And this one was for the tape of the relaunch of the Swedish design classic the Triplexlamp. I came up with the different types of lamps in 5 different settings; in the kitchen, next to the couch, on a small table, next to the bed and on a desk. And this is the result!

While searching for a nice place to stay I already fell in love with Beunos Aires. This is one of the great houses I came across. It all looks so vibrant, eclectic, colorfull, artsy, inspirational and ‘joie de vivre’,……just to name few. I am counting the days. Find more images from the same house here and I also loved this appartment and we will stay here! (maybe this one when we fly home and stay one more night in Buenos Aires) And it’s so nice to buy some summercloth in sale when it’s getting colder!

Warm socks, soft vests and long scarfs, cup of hot chocolate with home baked pie, walks in the forest followed by a nice bath, blue cheeses and a glass of red wine, pumpkin soup, a fireplace and lots of candles, snuggling up on the couch with a good book or movie, skirts and dresses with thick thights, cuddling with my love and Jack the cat, golden leafs and a good luck chestnut in my pocket!
