The design classic: Triplex lamps from Sweden!

Try-out drawings for the uber cool Triplexlamp!
It’s just great how one thing can turn into another! By making the businesscard for Petite Passport the girl from SHPPR asked me to make drawings for their new website and businesscard for Petite Etoile which led to creating the wedding invitation for Vanessa and probably the reason why Ulrika from Sweden (& blog Mackapar) and initatior of the re-invention of the vintage and super nice designer classic Triplex lamp asked me to do drawings for their brand!
These Triplexlamps will make you fall in love for sure! Check out the classic design, the story and designs.
Van Rox
Can’t help but always love the creative spirit of designers. The enthusiasm & passion always gets to me. What we call ‘doing your thing’.Enjoying something that fits you perfectly.
I have seen Rox’s work at Swanmarket for the first time and met her last week in her own temporarily shop at the Meent in Rotterdam for the first time. Just really like what she does, especially the crocheted necklaces. Check out ‘Van Rox’ here and here and pay a visit to her shop at Meent 133!
Nothing to do next sunday?

This next sunday there is another edition of Swan Market. This creative gathering is getting bigger and bigger with now over a 100 stands with design, vintage, food, fashion, interior and of course accesories! Been busy working with my new gemstones and am so happy with the result, here a sneak peak and soon more, also in the online shop!
So nothing planned for this sunday? Meet me at Swan Market and come to say hello! More details about Swan Market here.
The day of Romantic Music

Yesterday we went to the park for ‘The day of Romantic Music‘. People were all dressed up in dresses and hats adorned with flowers, having a nice picknick with champagne while enjoying classical music. So much fun and everybody was making such an effort to look nice!
Summer in the city
It is summer in the city! It is not that I haven’t had enough sun this year (skipping winter in Asia!) but still the city is so much more fun when the sun in shining. Everywhere in Rotterdam things are happening!
Last friday and sunday we went to ‘De Parade’ a traveling summer festival set up in an old fashioned fair theme! I always love the atmosphere; cosy and laidback with lots of rose wine and ice-cream. It is the place to meet and greet people you have not seen for a while. De Parade is finished in Rotterdam but will visit The Hague, Utrecht and Amsterdam in the following weeks.
